Tree Lighting, Friday, December 4th
Join the fun at the 5th Annual City of Palo Alto Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lytton Plaza (University at Emerson St) in downtown Palo Alto. Bring the family and hear the bands and choirs perform. Meet the secret faeries and enjoy the art activities. Hot drinks and treats available. The 60 foot tree lighting will take place at 6pm. Further information call: 650-463-4900

Live music returned to King Plaza, every Thursday at 6pm from July 9 through August 13. It was a great success. Come back next Summer!

The City of Palo Alto has instituted a Business Registry program.
You must now register your business with the city.
All Palo Alto businesses operating in an office or retail site are now required to register with the City and pay an annual fee of $50.
The City has developed a website for online registration: http://registermybusiness.cityofpaloalto.org.
Registrations are required.

11-TIME GRAMMY AWARD-WINNER PERFORMS AT COGSWELL ON THURSDAY AT NOON. FREE!
Tony Lindsay, long-time front man for Santana will perform with his band, Spangalang in the second in a series of noon-time concerts in Cogswell Park. Lindsay has performed with many other artists including Aretha Franklin, Smashmouth, The Whispers, Patty Austin, Curtis Mayfield and many more.

James Henry and his band, Hands On Fire will perform this Thursday at 12 noon.
James Henry is known for composing TV & film scores, touring the world with Columbia recording artist Pablo Cruise, and collaborating with other great artists including Taj Mahal, Robben Ford, Sly Stone, Buddy Miles, Merle Saunders, Pete Escovedo and Tom Jones, James is recognized among his peers in the music industry.


Kaitlin McGaw brings her jazz, blues, rock style to Cogswell at 12 noon on Thursday.
Le Vice will be performing on Thursday at noon at Concerts at Cogswell. Hip Hop and R&B with an indie twist. This San Francisco foursome has managed to craft an indulgent sound that takes advantage of all the things we love to hate - a little bling bling mixed with a dash of dirty hipster.


The T. Clemente Band will perform this Thursday at noon at Cogswell Plaza. Food and chairs will be available as well as the opportunity to enjoy the shade of an umbrella. C'mon down!

Roem Baur is a San Francisco based singer-songwriter with a "stirring vocal range who will perform this Thursday at Cogswell at noon.
A classically trained tenor with a four octave range and award-winning singer (MAMA and Elly Awards), Baur has begun to distinguish himself in the San Francisco scene with his unconventional takes on blues, soul and folk music coupled with the wit and energy he brings to his live performances.

The Jacob Jeffries Band is an American pop rock band from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The music is piano driven pop/rock.Described by Miami Herald/Metromix as "bursting with hook-filled melodies and dramatic, instantly likable vocals," that grab at your soul and refuse to let go which, paired with the young songwriter's surprisingly insightful lyrics keep audiences out of their seats and singing along show after show.
