Turns out none other than Walgreen's will rebuild and occupy the space. Stay tuned for

developments.

 And meanwhile across the street on the corner, Noah's and Starbucks will vacate to make room for a sparkling new structure whose tenants are yet to be determined. Starbucks will relocate to a larger space and occupy double store fronts at 374&376 University Avenue, previously occupied by Voshan Gallery and the GNC vitamin shop.

Parking ~

Research indicates that downtown Palo Alto actually has overall adequate parking.

The question remains proportionately how well is the congestion distributed?

Plans are on the table for possibly a new parking structure on the West end of downtown

on High Street .

* Please share with us what section of downtown you feel can use more parking *

1. is there adequate parking for you, your employees and your patrons?

2. where, if anywhere, would be a good place to erect a new parking structure?

3. are the color-coded parking zones easy for people to understand?

4. should parking permits be issued to the business instead of individuals?

5. are there any other parking problems you would like to elaborate upon?
