What
is BID
A Business Improvement District (BID) is a member-funded organization
of business people authorized by state law (California Streets
and Highway Code Section 36500). Its purpose is to promote and
improve a specific geographic area for the benefit of businesses
in the BID district. Currently, there are more than 200 successful
BIDs in California, including BIDs in Mountain View, Willow
Glen (San Jose), Burlingame, and downtown San Jose. |
